Brazilian companies occasionally pay out the bumbum for a famous gringo to appear in their commercials, sometimes alongside famous Brazilians. Here are a few of my favorites. One is a reprise I put up awhile back, but it is just SO GOOD that I'm putting it up again.
Behold: Carolina Ferraz with Richard Gere (who speaks Portuguese with the funniest little accent), Gisele with Silvester Stallone, and, ladies and gentlemen, Arnold Schwarzenegger for CCAA.
Explanations for monlinguists:
Carolina explains that whatever hair product is the best for when you're meeting someone special. When she arrives at the restaurant, she says, "Am I late?" Richard says, "I just got here." Later he says, "What beautiful hair!"
Boo. No explanation necessary.
Finally, Arnold says, "Do you speak English?" "Do you speak Spanish?" The guy shakes his head. Later, Arnold says, "That's how you say it." (or "That's how it's spoken!" It translates funny)
